Last season (2011) Clayton “Guaranteed” a Green Bay win in the playoffs. GB promptly lost. Clayotn was/is an idiot imo.

Mike, just wanted to point out you were wrong. And that’s a good thing because Forte is a huge part of the running game and thank God for the addition of Bush to help balance out the running attack some and give the man a break. He carried the team! But with Bus and Marshall in the mix, I’ll be excited to see two high-octane offenses play each other when Lions vs Bears.

Odie, from the sound of it, I think he’s a pretty big Forte fan. He loves his approach to the game and how versatile he is, but at the end of the day, its about improving the team. I don’t know if the Bears would be better off by trading Forte, but if they can get a top flight offensive lineman, it’s definitely worth consideration. The most important guy on the offense is Cutler, and without an offensive line, he looks like a deer in the headlights.

I’m a huge Forte fan. I would love for him to get paid, but when you look at the business end of it, the Bears are probably doing the right thing by franchising him (as much as it pains me to say that). Running backs have such a short shelf life that its best not to tie up a ton of long term money in them. Forte should be fine…he’ll be making almost 8 million this year and even more the following year if the Bears franchise him again. After that he’ll still be able to get a good deal from the Bears (or another team if he decides to leave).

Dude, your loyalty sucks. Just because he got hurt at the end of the season trying to win for YOUR beloved bears, he doesn’t deserve a long term contract? We know what Forte brings to the table for the long haul. We don’t know if Bush is built for the long haul. We’ve had 3 years to evaluate Forte and we know what we are going to get. We only saw Bush for 9 games. I would rather we trade Bush for an offensive lineman before we trade Forte. Furthermore, the run game opens up the pass game and vice-versa. If you don’t have a running game then it will be easier to defend the pass game. We need to trade you as a fan. Send your ass to Minnesota.

In order for ur boy to get recognition. He has 2 options. He has to get his team to the playoffs n win. Or dunk on Blake Griffin lol. I think his problem is. He’s too fundamental. Which isn’t a problem becuz dats Tim Duncan nickname. But Duncan has 3 rings n a better team. Another thing is he’s a 6’10 foward dat can barely dunk. Nothing about Kevin Love says “hey look at me”. U have to look at his stat sheet n think to urself “damn he had a great game”. That’s where it stops at. N yes he might have to go another team. I kno u hate da thought of it. But dis isn’t the 80′s. N as much a teams were spreaded out. Only 4 teams won. So y bother. There’s enuff team that can compete. But there’s only 6 teams we expect to see. N dat won’t change. Yeah, I feel like his all around play is outstanding but he doesn’t have the wow factor. I mean the only reason anyone cares about Blake Griffin is because he is a dunking machine and that kind of excitement is what society wants. Unfortunately, being a flat out great player doesn’t count anymore. You have to give constant entertainment and thats big plays all the time. Love and the T’Wolves just aren’t sexy enough for the public.

I like your article about kevin love. He is a great player & probably the best forward in the nba not named durant or lebron. One thing in Rose’s favor is his willingness to take the big shot at the end of the game. We’ve seen countless examples of LeBron not wanting to take that shot. And I don’t want to hear about LeBron making the “right basketball play” by passing to an open roll player. If you’re the best player in the game, you create a shot and don’t pass off to someone else.
